STATE PROOF
State Proof : the printing of the matrix to see where one is - to see the state of things. State Proof is a juried exhibition of prints by Alaskan printmakers currently making work. It reveals where printmaking is in the state of Alaska, but also, like the state proof, it shows us where we need to go.
This is the second edition of State Proof and is being organized 5 years since the last one. The first edition of State Proof was an invitational exhibition, and this year it will be juried by printmakers Joe Carr, Karinna Gomez, and Jonathan S. Green. The exhibition will be on view at the IGCA in January 2024.
The submission deadline is Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
If you have any questions, please email Karinna at igcamanager@igcaalaska.org.
