COLD CUTS: COLLAGES FROM WINTER

As we move into the dark time of year, you are invited to submit works for inclusion in Cold Cuts, a curated group exhibition of winter collages that will be on view at the IGCA in February 2027.

Theme: Winter. We are looking for your interpretations. What does this season mean to you? Do you love it? Dread it? What colors, textures, feelings do you associate with winter? What imagery? 

This exhibit is open to anyone, anywhere, and all analog collage methods will be considered. Artists can submit up to 3 collages for consideration. Submissions will be curated by Owen Tucker and Karinna Gomez.

Submission deadline is Friday, December 11, 2026, and artists will be notified of whether their work is accepted for inclusion in the exhibit by Friday, January 1, 2027. Artworks will then need to be delivered to the gallery by Friday, January 29, 2027.

Annual IGCA Members Exhibition | April 2027

This annual exhibition is more than a group show, it has a very clear purpose - to take the current pulse of our artist community. We encourage members to think about which work best represents what you have been focused on and passionate about this last year, or maybe what you are excited to pursue over this next year. The work you submit does not have to be for sale. Your submission could be a finished piece, an experimental work, part of a series, whatever! We leave it up to you to take your artistic pulse and provide a work (or two) that best reflects your practice and vision.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Your membership must be current or your volunteer days must have been within the last year

  • All media welcome

  • No dimensional limitations (however, space is limited, so if considering submitting more than one large work, please keep that in mind and contact Karinna with any questions or concerns)

  • Up to 2 submissions per artist (all submissions will be included, space permitting)

Please help us prepare by filling out the form below BEFORE dropping off your work at the gallery.

Artwork drop off dates: Saturday, March 6 - Sunday, March 21 during gallery hours (Thursday - Sunday from 1-4 pm)

Last day to submit your online form AND drop off your art will be Sunday, March 21!!

Exhibition dates: The exhibition will open on First Friday, April 2 and will run through Friday, April 30
