STAGED | STILL LIFE INSTALLATION IN THE IGCA ANNEX

Staged is an immersive still life environment that we have created in the IGCA annex for our community to work in over the next few months.

In addition to being a space for artists to work and respond to this winter, there will also be an exhibition opportunity in February in the IGCA North Gallery where artists can submit works created from the still life arrangements in Staged. We see this exhibition as a prompt. All media welcome: writing, sculpture, drawing, video, painting, etc. This is an exhibition on process and we hope for it to generate conversation within the community. All we ask is that the work you create is a response to the space.

Staged is installed in the annex from December 9 - February 28, 2025. Open studio hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-6 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10-7 pm. We will close for the holidays between December 23 - January 7, and then will resume studio hours. If you are unable to visit during these hours and would like to make work, please contact Sally at sallycarrk@gmail.com and we can accommodate to the best of our ability!

Some drawing supplies are available, including pencils, pens, colored pencils, and limited paper, as well as easels, drawing boards, and chairs, but you are very welcome and encouraged to bring your own supplies. The space is set up to handle almost every material.

There is no cost to drop in and all are welcome to draw, paint, collage, and otherwise create!
