Open Call for Submissions

DEADLINE EXTENDED THROUGH SUNDAY, AUG 4th

Drawn North is an exhibition curated by Graham Dane featuring work exploring the medium of drawing.

This exhibition will be on display at the IGCA for the month of September 2019.

  • All drawing mediums accepted. 

  • Membership to the IGCA is not required

  • Artists should be 18 or older

  • No dimension can be longer than 48” and work must be ready to exhibit, but is not required to be framed

  • Submissions will be accepted through Sunday, August 4th; artists will be informed of their participation no later than August 9th

  • Selected works will need to arrive at the IGCA by August 30th - shipping/delivery will be the responsibility of the artist unless otherwise coordinated with the curator

  • Artists can submit up to 4 pieces by submitting the completed form below

Life Drawing Exhibition in North Gallery April 2020!


This call is open to everyone who has participated in the life drawing meet-ups at the IGCA in 2019 and 2020. The exhibition will highlight this group and the work that has been done over the last year.

Submission Details:

  • Up to 3 submissions per artist.

  • Drop off will be March 7th - March 19th during regular gallery hours.

  • Pieces do not need to be framed or ready to hang.

  • Please inform Carol or Chris about your intent to submit via email (cgjudd13@gmail.com) or in person at the life drawing meetups - this is not required in order to participate but it is appreciated.

  • Please bring your pieces wrapped - clean newsprint, or poster paper work great.

  • Submission forms are available HERE - you can print one out and attach it to your submission for easy drop off, forms will also be available at the gallery if you would prefer to fill it out when you drop off your work.

If you have not attended yet - it’s not too late! We would love to have a broad variety of artists so the more participants the better. Details on regular Thursday night life drawing sessions are below.
