100x100 Submission Portal

The 100x100 exhibition serves multiple purposes: It is our annual fundraiser, as well as a wonderful entry point for new buyers (who may become new collectors) of contemporary art, but first and foremost, it is an artistic challenge!

We encourage artists to consider what a $100 work of art looks like to you. Perhaps a smaller piece? Maybe a process work? Something experimental? The subject of art and money is complicated. Rather than devalue art, this exhibit aims to be a sort of exploration on that subject, while also challenging artists to participate in that conversation through their work. What is a $100 work of art to you?

  • The 100x100 exhibition will be on display in December 2022 and all artworks will be included in an online store as well.

  • Up to three submissions per artist. All submissions will be included if space allows.

  • All work must be for sale and priced at $100 or less.

  • All sizes, shapes, and media accepted. Only original works of art - no reproductions.

  • All artists are welcome to submit art for this exhibition. Membership to the gallery is not required.

Artwork can be dropped off during gallery hours (Wed-Sat from 3-7pm) from Saturday, November 5th through Wednesday, November 23rd. Your online form must be submitted prior to being dropped off at the gallery. Your name and the artwork’s title need to be labeled somewhere on the artwork for ID purposes. If you are shipping your art to the gallery, please email Karinna at igcamanager@igcaalaska.org to let her know.

If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to contact us by emailing igcamanager@igcaalaska.org!
