K N GOODRICH

Goodrich was born and raised in Alaska. Making and exhibiting art has been her primary occupation since the end of 1996. This artist creates in a search for peace, clarity and order despite her own experience of the world as a place of disorder, chaos and uncertainty. Goodrich's latest work represents an attempt to create a visual experience of those marks, both physical and emotional, left behind by the past, covered by time and misdirection, which resonate with stories and dreams lost to the imperfection of memory and to physical decay. Goodrich's next solo exhibition is scheduled for October 2008 at APU's Carr-Gottstein Gallery in Anchorage, Alaska. She has had solo exhibitions throughout the state and been accepted into many statewide and national juried exhibitions.
