The International Gallery invites artists to submit proposals for solo exhibitions at any time. Exhibition proposals are judged primarily by the quality of the artist’s past  work, but also by a narrative in which the artist explains what it is they are trying to explore in the body of work they will prepare for the exhibition.

The International Gallery accepts only new work that has not been previously exhibited elsewhere. In this way, the Gallery plays a role in stimulating the creation of new artwork. The International Gallery is open to all art forms including installation, performance art, and new media such as digital, video or other technologies.

Proposals must be submitted via email.

Email your exhibition proposal to:

Your emailed proposal must include the following items as attachments:

1. An attachment of not more than 10 digital images that may be used to judge the quality of your recent work. These images should be of high quality, and ideally 1500 pixels on the long edge. These images may be of the work you propose for exhibition, or may be of past work that demonstrates your ability to complete new work that you propose for exhibition.

2. An attached document that lists the title, dimensions and media of each work of art submitted as a digital image.

3. An attached document that constitutes your artist’s resume.

4. An attached document that includes a narrative that outlines your proposed exhibition, whether the images submitted represent work that you wish to exhibit or not, any preference you may have as to what part of the gallery would best suit your idea, and any preference you might have as to the time of your proposed exhibition.

Alternately, you may submit an attachment that is a .pdf document that includes all of the items listed above.
